TERMS OF SERVICE – ACTIONWISE UK
1. About ActionWise UK
ActionWise UK provides digital self-help toolkits, document templates and general information designed to help consumers understand and respond to common correspondence and situations.
Our products are intended for consumers in England and Wales unless otherwise stated.
2. Important information
ActionWise UK is not a law firm and does not provide legal representation, regulated debt advice or personalised legal advice.
Our products provide general information, guidance and document templates. They are not a substitute for advice from a solicitor, regulated debt adviser or other appropriately qualified professional where such advice is required.
You remain responsible for deciding whether any information or template is appropriate for your individual circumstances.
3. Digital products
Products sold through this website are digital products unless expressly stated otherwise. No physical product will be posted to you.
After successful payment, your digital product will be made available electronically.
You are responsible for providing a valid email address and ensuring that you have suitable software or equipment to access the files supplied.
4. Digital content and cancellation
Where you request immediate access to digital content during the statutory cancellation period, you expressly consent to the supply of the digital content beginning immediately and acknowledge that, once supply begins, you may lose your statutory right to cancel where applicable.
This does not affect your statutory rights where digital content is faulty, not as described or otherwise fails to meet requirements imposed by law.
5. Prices and payment
Prices are displayed in pounds sterling (GBP) unless otherwise stated. Payment must be successfully completed before access to a purchased digital product is provided.
6. Licence and permitted use
When you purchase an ActionWise UK digital product, you receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use it for your own purposes.
You may edit templates for your own personal use. You must not resell, redistribute, publish, share, reproduce for commercial purposes or make our digital products or substantial parts of them available to others without our written permission.
7. Information and templates
We take reasonable care when preparing our products, but laws, procedures and practices can change. We do not guarantee that every document or piece of information will be appropriate for every individual situation or produce a particular outcome.
You should check important deadlines and seek appropriate professional advice where necessary.
8. Refunds
Refunds and cancellation requests are dealt with in accordance with our Return and Refund Policy and your statutory consumer rights.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or restricts any rights that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable consumer law.
9. Intellectual property
Unless otherwise stated, the content, branding, written materials, templates and digital products supplied by ActionWise UK are owned by or licensed to ActionWise UK and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
10. Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so.
Subject to your statutory rights, ActionWise UK is not responsible for losses arising solely because a customer has used a template or general information without considering whether it is appropriate for their particular circumstances.
11. Privacy
Personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, subject to any mandatory consumer rights that apply to you.
